Feeding without a fight over every spoonful

The simplest guideline: the adult decides what and when, the child decides how much and whether at all. That removes most daily conflicts.
New food needs many calm encounters. Having it on the table without a demand to eat it is already a step.
Avoid food as a reward or punishment: it builds a link between emotions and the plate.
If you notice a significantly restricted diet or weight loss, discuss it with your paediatrician.
